Profit is Good!

The war against profit is heating up and two of the worlds most lucrative businesses are again targeted by bleeding heart tree huggers - the car and child porn industries.

"Austria has uncovered an international child pornography network involving more than 2,360 suspects from 77 countries, the interior minister said."

"The net had helped to make child pornography a multi-billion dollar business, said Lord Cardon de Lichtbuer because it made it easy to buy illegal images and videos using credit cards and other payment systems."

"The European Commission has proposed to force carmakers to make an 18% cut in CO2 emissions from new cars by 2012, by improving vehicle technology.
The car industry has warned that the commission's plans could lead to job losses and factory closures."

Even though child porn perhaps isn't an ideal way to make a living, it is a very profitable business that employs many people all over the world and targeting it will make many people unemployed and force many entrepreneurs out of business.
